The wind had finally stopped howling which meant a break in the weather. Giving a soft grunt, Makeva unfurled herself from her makeshift cocoon she had used by wrapping herself in her thickly insulated cloak. As she finished reading the letter that her mother wrote when she was pregnant, Makeva felt a small sense of closer. Sighing softly, she folded up the letter and placed it on the stone end table before turning to Sagaris, her grandfather.
