A yellow light filled a nesting cave as a lithe blue dragon with pink fringes on the sides of her face bathed an egg with her fire. She continued to do so for another few heartbeats before closing her jaws and cutting off the stream.
Her blue eyes gazed fondly at the egg before gently nosing it to check the warmth despite having just bathed it flames. She smiled at the heat the egg gave off; it was perfect.
“How is our egg?” A deep soothing voice asked.
The female dragon looked over her shoulder and smiled as she saw her mate; a large and handsome red and blue Autodragon.
“I just bathed it with fire; our hatchling shoul
Stormshadow gnawed on a bone while Starscream played with her tail, he was trying to keep it from moving by pinning it down with his front paws. When he believed he had succeeded, his quarry some how managed to escape, it was maddening!
He was just about to pounce when his father and brother entered the den, he called his brother over to help him, maybe with another set of paws he could finally pin down Storm's tail.
Megatron growled playfully as he pounced and grabbed his mother's tail with his teeth, he sat on his haunches looking rather pleased with himself.
Stormshadow smiled at her son, thankful their teeth were not strong enough to d
"He's six months old with blue, red, and white scales," Ironhide explained. "He also has bright blue eyes."
Silentwave's eyes widened. "That's the same hatchling Stormshadow and I found!"
"Please take us to him." Ironhide asked.
Silentwave looked at Galvatron, who sighed a moment later. "Silentwave, ask Hook if the hatchling is strong enough to travel."
"Thank you, sir." Ironhide said with a small nod.
The silent dragon quietly headed toward the medical den where the hatchling was sleeping peacefully, curled up by the fire.
"Hook?"
"Can I help you with something?" The medic asked after placing more kindling on the fire to keep it going
"Your fault... what do you mean?" Ironhide asked, tilting his head.
"I went out… hunting last night. He-he must have followed me," Nightstalker told him. "I didn't know he was following me."
The black scaled teenager felt a chill grip him at what his twin had said. Optimus had followed her out of the caves and into the forest. Nightstalker pacing back and forth by the river…
If the hatchling had fallen in, the fast-paced cold river would have easily killed him.
"You didn't know, Nightstalker. That's not your fault." Metalsound told her.
"It doesn't matter anymore, we have to find him!" Nightstalker cried.
"And we will," Ir
Reaching the camp, Silentwave quickly found Hook and explained the situation. The healer hurried back to his cave and started a small fire near the entrance of his cave, then gathered his herbs incase of injuries.
Storm entered the camp a few moments later; her chest splattered with mud as she gently held the little one against her chest.
"Stormshadow, bring the little one over here!" Hook called upon seeing the female.
The green and purple healer was standing next to a small bonfire, a bundle of herbs sat at his feet.
The female easily made her way toward the healer and the bonfire.
"He's still alive." She told him.
"Did you notice any
Brawl sighed a little before pulling out of Nightstalker. "That…" He panted. "That was amazing."
Nightstalker gave a panting smile before giving his cheek a lick. "I enjoyed it as well."
Leaning into the lick, the young Deceptidragon wrapped a wing around the black scaled female and held her close. He nuzzled her tenderly, inhaling her scent
"Do you feel that?" Nightstalker asked suddenly, her eyes closed. "Our hearts are beating in unison."
"Really?" Brawl asked before closing his eyes for a moment then opened them again, eyes wide with shocked surprise. "They are!"
"Do you know what this means…"
"That we are meant to be
